Suspect flees scene after stolen vehicle chase in Georgetown County
GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Georgetown County deputies stopped a stolen vehicle early this afternoon, sparking a high-speed chase that ended when the car crashed into a mobile home.
According to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, the vehicle was reported stolen in Horry County and crashed into a mobile home on Gaylord Trail during the pursuit.
Following the crash, the male suspect fled the scene on foot and remains at large.
No injuries were reported in the incident, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol assisted.
Authorities have not released additional details as the search for the suspect continues.
