1 dead after Lowell Drive homicide, North Charleston police say

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – North Charleston detectives are investigating after a man was found dead inside an apartment Tuesday afternoon.

Just before 1:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at a location on Lowell Drive, according to Harve Jacobs, spokesperson for the North Charleston Police Department.

When they arrived, they found a man deceased inside an apartment at the location.

Police have not made any arrests so far, the department said.

An investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
