Authorities investigate incident off Bacons Bridge Road

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating an incident involving a stolen trailer in the Summerville area.

A large law enforcement presence was seen off Bacons Bridge Road around 6 p.m. Sunday.

Witnesses shared video of a what they said was a vehicle fire in a wooded area.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said it was involved in a stolen trailer investigation out of Charleston County. The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is the lead investigating agency.

No other details were immediately available.
