Colleton County deputies assisting SLED with search warrant on home

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Colleton County are attempting to serve a warrant on a home Monday morning.

The sheriff’s office said residents in the area of Cleveland Street and Smith Street can expect a heavy law enforcement presence. 

The department is assisting the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division and Colleton County Animal Control with a search warrant.

They said there is no threat to the public or Black Street Elementary which is nearby.
