Police investigate South Allen Drive homicide

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in North Charleston are investigating a deadly Wednesday night shooting.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to a home on South Allen Drive around 11 p.m. for a report of an unconscious man with gunshot wounds.

A firefighter told arriving officers that the victim had died.

Multiple shell casings were found on the ground in the hallway and the kitchen, according to an incident report.

While police have interviewed multiple witnesses at the scene, no arrests have been made.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will identify the gunshot victim when appropriate.
