Saturday morning fire damages Johns Island mobile home

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – A home on Johns Island was damaged by a Saturday morning fire.

Crews with St. John’s Fire District and assisting agencies responded to an address on Plow Ground Road near Cape Road around 8:45 a.m. for a structure fire.

Fire was found coming from a mobile home when firefighters arrived.

The St. John’s Fire District’s Fire Marshal division is investigating the cause. No injuries were reported.

The family is being assisted by American Red Cross.
