Spirit Airlines has officially updated its Contract of Carriage to crack down on lewd and offensive fashion choices and body art (aka tattoos) in an effort to curb provocatively dressed passengers who often go viral, at the airline’s expense.

The budget-friendly carrier quietly implemented the new policy last Wednesday, outlining stricter guidelines for what is considered appropriate attire. Under the updated rules, passengers can now be denied boarding if they are barefoot, “inadequately clothed,” or wearing anything deemed obscene or offensive by airline staff.
