In January 2023, Scottie Pippen‘s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, and Michael Jordan‘s son, Marcus Jordan, broke the internet after the news about their romantic relationship was revealed. By the top of 2024, however, it was rumored that Larsa and Marcus were no more.

According to TMZ, Marcus and Larsa unfollowed each other on Instagram and removed all pictures of each other from the platform, which is typically a sign that a celebrity (or, in this case, celebrity adjacent) couple is on the outs. That’s certainly all it usually takes for the rumor mill to start working overtime as folks on social media insert themselves into the drama.
In August 2023, fans were hearing wedding bells after Marcus indicated that marriage was on the horizon between him and the woman who used to be married to his father’s former teammate. It appears it’s a good thing the two didn’t jump the broom, because Larsa most recently confirmed (in October 2024) that the two are in fact broken up.
“I’m not really looking for anything,” she told PEOPLE, “I already feel full from my last relationship. I need to just focus on other things at this point. I am working, I am enjoying my family time. I’m good.”
