Police respond to deadly auto-pedestrian accident on Rivers Ave

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is responding to an auto-pedestrian accident on Rivers Ave.

Police say the collision occurred on Rivers Ave westbound between Fuller and Rebecca Streets.

One lane is open as emergency personnel assist on the scene.

North Charleston police report the pedestrian died at the hospital. The victim is identified as an adult male.

NCPD traffic unit and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
