Altercation at Stacy Court home leads to stabbing; Georgetown County deputies working to identify suspect

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Georgetown County are investigating a Sunday afternoon stabbing on Stacy Court.

Deputies responded to a home shortly after 1:30 p.m. following reports of an argument inside the residence. 

One person with injuries was taken to Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital for treatment. 

Authorities are waiting to speak with the victim to gather more details on the altercation. They are also working to identify a suspect although they said witnesses are being uncooperative.
