What’s happening Sunday, Feb 16 at the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – It’s the final full day of the Southeastern Wildlife Expo with activities happening across five venues Sunday.

Exhibitions will be open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The forecast may be a little tricky Sunday with a chance for showers and thunderstorms.

The ever-popular Dock Dogs competitions begin at 10 a.m. in Brittlebank Park, and the Sheep and Duck herding demos begin at 10:30 a.m.

Over in Marion Square, enjoy the Birds of Prey flight demo at 10:30 a.m., where you can get up close with majestic raptors including falcons, eagles, owls, vultures, and hawks as they showcase incredible flight demonstrations.

The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary Animal Show will get underway at 11 a.m. at the Gilliard Center where attendees will get an up-close look at alligators, bobcats, foxes, birds of prey, and various other animals. Arrive early: seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Check out the Wildrose British Labrador demonstration pack at Brittlebank Park beginning at 11:30 a.m. This event offers an opportunity to witness the skills and training techniques of these exceptional sporting dogs.

South Carolina’s culinary scene will be on display in Marion Square featuring the state’s top specialty food vendors under the Certified SC tent starting at 12 p.m. You’ll have the chance to watch talented chefs team up with their favorite farmers for live demonstrations and tastings.

Orvis Fly Fishing demos with Peter Kutzer are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at Brittlebank Park.

Watch skilled retrievers of all breeds and ages showcase their incredible retrieving abilities at Brittlebank Park in the “Meet the Gundogs” retriever demos. The event begins at 1 p.m.
