Utility pole struck in North Charleston, lanes closed
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A utility pole was struck in North Charleston early Monday morning, closing lanes and causing a few traffic delays.
A two-vehicle crash struck a utility pole on Remount Road and North Rhett, according to News 2’s Traffic official, AC Barker.
She says the crash is causing low-hanging powerlines and the right line on Remount Road is closed.
Dominion Energy is on the scene working to fix the power lines.
The Summerville PD is also on the scene assisting with the incident.
