The NBA All-Star game’s new format didn’t win many people over, especially Draymond Green, who complained about it the entire night. Two NBA legends decided to give Green a piece of their minds.

It was no secret that Draymond Green did not like the new tournament-style format used during this weekend’s NBA All-Star game in San Francisco.

The boisterous and always opinionated member of the Golden State Warriors superstar didn’t bite his tongue, especially when talking about the NBA’s Rising Stars. He felt they shouldn’t be participating because they were not selected to be all-stars.

Green also didn’t like the four-team format or the fact that the first team to score 40 points won.

NBA on TNT host Charles Barkley, who was the manager of one of the teams involved in the new format, clapped back at Green, and his criticisms and points were made, especially about who was to blame for the All-Star Game’s lack of excitement.

“I’m going to disagree with Draymond A LOT… They messed the game up!.. His generation messed the game up!… We’re doing every type of trick to make this weekend exciting,” Barkley said.

What’s even more hilarious is Green didn’t have any smoke for his teammate Steph Curry, who helped come up with the new format.

Barkley wasn’t the only person who had enough of Green hating. NBA Legend Oscar Robertson also let the chopper spray on Draymond for calling today’s NBA “boring.”

“Draymond says so much, who cares what Draymond says? It doesn’t mean anything,” Robertson told SiriusXM’s Justin Termine and Frank Isola on Sunday. “One guy can say this, one guy can say that; people either like the game or they don’t. I think people enjoy the game, especially if their team can win.”

“It might be boring to him because if he doesn’t pass the ball to [Steph] Curry, what is he doing? Not to single that out because he knows how to play basketball, but he’s passing the ball to Curry more than anyone I’ve ever seen in basketball. It might be boring to him at times because of what he’s doing, it might be boring. When he’s out there, he’s not shooting a lot, he’s not guarding a lot, so it’s boring.”

Damn.

Both Robertson and Barkley were not wrong. Just saying.
