Driver dead after hitting tree in Williamsburg County
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A driver is dead after hitting a tree late Saturday night in Williamsburg County.
Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. on Tad Road near Seaboard Road.
The driver of a 2011 Acura sedan was heading north on Tad Road when they left the road and struck a tree.
No one else was in the at the time. The driver, whose name was not released, did not survive
Trooper Bolt said the crash is under investigation.
