National Racial Justice Network to hold Town Hall

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A Civil Rights Organization is hosting a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday to discuss the recent exclusion of DEI initiatives and upcoming economic actions.

The National Racial Justice Network invites Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester county residents to attend the meeting at the Alfred Williams Community Life Center at 6 p.m.

Organizers say Dr. Ellen Jones will be a keynote speaker and will discuss the “Economic Blackout” protest against racial and social injustice that is scheduled for this weekend.

Charleston leaders, activists, and clergy are expected to be in attendance.
