South Carolina forms new partnership to aid human trafficking victims

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) – Attorney General Alan Wilson will announce a new partnership that will impact human trafficking victim services across the state.

Attorney General Wilson will make this announcement alongside Kristi Wells, CEO of The Safe House Project. A non-profit dedicated to ending child trafficking.

Officials say AG Wilson will also give an update regarding the $6.5 million grant program for the development of residential programming for minor human trafficking victims.

The announcement will take place at the West Columbia Municipal Center at 10 a.m. on Friday.
