2 found dead during Radcliffe Street fire: police

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – An investigation is underway after two people were found dead during a downtown structure fire.

The Charleston Fire Department responded to a home on Radcliffe Street around 7:16 a.m.

Officials said two people were found dead in the home; however, a cause of death has not been determined. The coroner is on the scene.

The fire marshal is working to determine the cause of the fire.

Roads surrounding the home will be closed for several hours.
