Teyana Taylor Set To Receive Millions From Divorce Settlement With Iman Shumpert

Teyana Taylor is reportedly set to receive a substantial payout in her divorce settlement with former husband Iman Shumpert. Court documents obtained by The Express Tribune on March 13 revealed that Taylor, who married the Brooklyn Nets alum in 2016, has been awarded four luxury homes worth over $10 million, a one-time seven-figure payment, and several high-end vehicles, including a $300,000 Maybach, a $70,000 Mercedes Sprinter, and a tour bus. Additionally, Taylor will retain full ownership of her businesses, which include her production company The Aunties and Taylormade.
The former couple reached a settlement agreement in 2024.
As previously reported, the couple reached a legal agreement regarding their divorce in June 2024. Under the agreement, Shumpert is required to pay the “Gonna Love Me” singer $8,000 per month in child support for the couple’s two daughters, Junie and Rue. The former basketball star will also be responsible for the children’s private school tuition costs and fees.
Shumpert won’t walk away empty-handed. He will keep his luxurious Miami condo, as well as retain ownership of his South Georgia and Decatur, Georgia compounds. Additionally, he will maintain control of all his investments.
In September 2023, the actress and filmmaker took to Instagram to announce that she and Shumpert had separated after seven years of marriage. The 34-year-old star clarified at the time that “infidelity” was not connected to their split.
“AHT AHT! Not too much on my bestie! In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while,” the A Thousand and One actress captioned a since-deleted photo of her and Shumpert, 34, dressed up as Wayne and Garth from the film Wayne’s World. “We are still the best of friends, great business partners, and are one hell of a team when it comes to co-parenting our two beautiful children,” she added. “Most importantly, we are FAMILY & in the 10 years together, 7 years married, we ain’t ever played with or about THAT.”
Taylor is seemingly dating Aaron Pierre.
Taylor has moved on since her split from Shumpert, and it appears that she is happily booed up with the insanely handsome Hollywood star Aaron Pierre. The beautiful mother sparked romance rumors on Instagram March 3 after she shared a picture that captured her posing alongside The Lion King: Mufasa actor while attending The Academy Awards.
The pair haven’t verbally confirmed their rumored romance just yet, but if the chatter is true, they certainly make one fine couple.
