Construction begins on new roundabout at Johns Island Elementary

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Construction will begin Friday on the new roundabout in front of the new Johns Island Elementary School.

Construction will take place at the intersection of River and Brownswood Road.

Road work on River Road will cause periodic lane closures, shoulder closures, and other traffic control measures.

Officials ask drivers to use caution while driving through the area.
