It’s been seven years since we lost The Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin to pancreatic cancer at just  76 years old. Throughout her 50 year career, Ms. Franklin has touched numerous souls and provided the soundtrack for many countless life moments. Aretha Louise Franklin was an American singer, songwriter, pianist, and civil rights activist. Known as the “Queen of Soul,” Franklin’s recordings are considered anthems that defined soul music. She won 18 Grammys and was the first woman inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Rolling Stone magazine even named her the greatest singer of all time twice.

The legendary entertainer touched the hearts of a lot of beloved celebrities like Alicia Keys, Denzel Washington and Mariah Carey to name a few.
