Scattered severe thunderstorms possible Monday
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A cold front passing through the region Monday could bring scattered severe thunderstorms to the area.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service said a squall line associated with an approaching cold front is expected to move through the area Monday afternoon into the evening hours.
The main threat includes strong damaging wind gusts to 60 mph, along with an isolated tornado threat.
The timing for severe weather is between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
