1 dead in Saturday morning crash in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – A 21-year-old man has died following a Saturday morning crash in Summerville.

Berkeley County Coroner Darnell Hartwell said the accident happened around 2:35 a.m. at the intersection of North Main Street and Berlin G. Myers.

A passenger, identified as Dakari T. McCutchen, 21, from Summerville died at the scene from their injures. 

The Summerville Police Dept and the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
