Woman injured after falling from vehicle on Otranto Road

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A woman was injured Friday night after falling out of a vehicle.

Emergency crews responded to Otranto Road around 9:20 p.m. where officials say the woman fell from a vehicle. Harve Jacobs, a spokesman for the North Charleston Police Department, told News 2 the woman was ill and leaning on the car door.

Witness video from the scene showed first responders attending to the individual along the roadway, including Charleston County EMS, North Charleston Police, and North Charleston Fire Department personnel.

The woman was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries. Police do not believe there was any foul play.
