Police investigating Summerville bank robbery

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Summerville bank robbery.

Officers with the Summerville Police Department responded Monday to United Bank on North Cedar Street for a reported robbery.

Police said the suspect did not present a weapon; however, they said he left with an undisclosed amount of money.

No injuries were reported. Police are searching for the person responsible.
