Crash involving box truck, utility pole closes Mount Pleasant roadway

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A roadway in Mount Pleasant is closed Tuesday morning following a crash.

Mount Pleasant police closed the northbound lanes of Highway 17 at Belk Drive after a box truck crashed into a utility pole during an accident.

Police ask drivers to use an alternate route. There is no word on any injuries.
