Man accused of murder in Kindale Park Road homicide

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Deputies in Williamsburg County have arrested a man accused of shooting and killing a person on Sunday.

David Fulton, 69, was arrested and charged with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Authorities responded to a shooting report on Kindale Park Road in Kingstree. When they arrived, they found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound in the yard, according to the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office.

EMS attempted life-saving measures, but the victim ultimately died from their injuries.

Investigators discovered the victim and Fulton were in an altercation before Fulton fired.

Fulton was taken to the Williamsburg County Detention Center. An investigation is ongoing.
