North Charleston Police Department welcomes new K9 officers

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is celebrating new additions to its K-9 team.

Officers welcomed dual purpose K-9s Ghost from Slovakia and Edo from Poland to the Department Wednesday morning.

NCPD says both dogs are trained and certified in drug detection, tracking building searches and criminal apprehension.
