Crash closes portion of Highway 17 N at National Drive

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A Friday morning crash is impacting traffic in the north Mount Pleasant area.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department said Highway 17 North at National Drive is closed to traffic.

The crash was called in to dispatch around 8:21 a.m.

It’s unclear if there are any injuries involved in the crash; however, police say motorists should find an alternate route.
