Teacher assistant at local high school under investigation by NCPD

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A teacher assistant at Fort Dorchester High School is being investigated by the North Charleston Police Department (NCPD), said NCPD spokesperson Harve Jacobs.

The assistant allegedly assaulted a student. The assault was reported yesterday at the school, according to NCPD.

Jacobs said no injuries were reported.

No arrests have been made for this case. More information is expected to be shared in the following days.
