Crews responding to McClellanville house fire

MCCLELLANVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews are responding to a Wednesday afternoon house fire in McClellanville.

Crews with Awendaw-McClellanville Fire District were dispatched to an address on Pinckney Street where they found heavy smoke and fire.

Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) said Pinckney Street and Rutledge Couty are temporarily blocked.

Residents have been evacuated.
