Police responding to barricaded person situation at Summerville apartments

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — Summerville Police are responding to an incident regarding a barricaded person at an apartment complex Monday evening.

The agency posted on X that they are working on an incident at Waters at Oakbrook Apartment Complex. Police confirmed to News 2 that the incident involved a barricaded person.

Police are also asking people and residents to avoid the area if possible. Residents should expect delays, police wrote.
