GCSO: 2 Georgetown County inmates found unresponsive

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two inmates were found unresponsive at the Georgetown County Detention Center.

Deputies say two female inmates were found unresponsive in their cells Friday and transported to a nearby hospital.

Officials say an investigation is ongoing into the cause.
