Motorcyclist dies in Friday night crash on Patriots Point Blvd.

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A motorcyclist was killed following a Friday night crash on Patriots Point Boulevard.

Officers with the Mount Pleasant Police Department (MPPD) responded to the single-vehicle motorcycle crash shortly before 10:30 p.m.

The extent of injuries was unknown at the time; however, officials with Mount Pleasant PD said Monday morning that the motorcyclist had died.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office will provide the victim’s name when appropriate.
