Summerville home struck by gunfire, police say

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating after bullet holes were discovered in a Summerville home over the weekend.

Officers with the Summerville Police Department (SPD) responded to a residence on Equinox Circle after a homeowner found bullet strikes on their home.

At the scene, Summerville officers observed one that appeared to have traveled through a rear glass window on the right side of the home, another at a rear middle window, and a third that struck near a gutter drain on the left side of the house.

The three 9mm bullet holes were all on the second floor of the two-story home.
