GCSO: Shooting in Plantersville leaves one injured
GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCBD) – The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting on Exodus Drive in the Plantersville community that left a man injured.
Deputies say the shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. on Friday. Officials say witnesses told investigators that an occupant of a vehicle fired shots into a house and a vehicle after a confrontation, the resident then returned fire with a shotgun.
A man was taken to a local hospital for wounds to his hands and back after the exchange of gunfire.
