Kingstree woman charged in sexual assault involving teenager

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities arrested a Kingstree woman following an investigation into a sexual assault on a teenager.

Megan McDonald Miles, 35 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) on five counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor and four counts of disseminating obscene material to a person under 18 years old.

Miles is accused of committing sexual battery and lewd acts on a 15-year-old victim between April 9 and 19, 2024.

The woman was booked into the Williamsburg County Detention Center. An investigation is ongoing.
