Man injured in shooting near Otranto Rd and Fairwind Dr

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The North Charleston Police Department is investigating an early Thursday morning shooting that left one man injured.

Officers responded to the area of Otranto Road and Fairwind Drive around 12:30 a.m. where they found a man bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound, according to authorities.

Officials say the man was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

There is no additional information regarding the extent of his injuries.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
