Power restored to customers in Berkeley County

UPDATE — The outage map shows power was restored to all affected Berkeley Electric Cooperative customers around 9:15 a.m.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD)- Hundreds of people in Berkeley County are without power Friday morning.

Officials said a car crashed into a pole in the Foxbank area, knocking out power.

Berkeley Electric Cooperative’s outage map shows 685 customers were affected as of 9 a.m. Friday.
