Reggae Nights Concert Series Finale at James Island Park

JAMES ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – James Island County Park is having its fourth and final reggae concert for the summer on Friday, August 2.

Park officials say the concert is fun for the whole family with vibes set by De Lions of Jah.

“Out of Jacksonville, Florida this group brings their authentic roots, dub, and dancehall style to the Lowcountry for the Reggae Nights Concert Series finale,” says James Island County Park.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating. Not only can guests enjoy great music but a variety of food options will also be available from local vendors to purchase.

Tickets will be available to purchase per vehicle (up to 15 people). Advance tickets are sold at $20 and on-site tickets are $30, if not sold out.

Gates open at 7:30 p.m., music is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. and end at 11 p.m.

Officials say the concert will take place rain or shine. No outside alcohol or coolers are permitted in the event. Dogs are welcome but must remain leashed at all times.

James Island County Park is located at 871 Riverland Drive.
