Johns Island road reopens after Tuesday crash

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) – A crash on Johns Island is impacting the Tuesday morning commute.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office said the northbound lanes of Savannah Highway at Hughes Road were shut down around 7 a.m.

Drivers were asked to find an alternate route.
