1 injured in Walterboro domestic-related shooting

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCBD) – One person was injured in a domestic-related shooting early Monday morning.

The incident happened just before 1 a.m. at a home off Savage Street, according to Colleton County Fire Rescue.

Officials said an adult male suffered two wounds and was in stable condition when first responders arrived.

He was initially treated at the scene before being taken to the trauma center at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.

The Walterboro Police Department is investigating.
