Shooting near North Charleston club leaves 1 dead

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in North Charleston are investigating a deadly early morning shooting.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to Caliente on Remount Road around 1:45 a.m. for a reported shooting.

A male shooting victim was found in front of the club on Dakota Street, according to a department spokesman.

Police have not made any arrests.

North Charleston PD detectives and the Charleston County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
