1 dead, 2 injured in Walterboro bowling alley shooting

WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCBD) – A man was killed, and two others were injured following a Friday night altercation at a Walterboro bowling alley.

Emergency crews were dispatched to Walterboro Family Bowl off Wishman Street around 11 p.m. after receiving a report that a person was shot.

Colleton County Fire Rescue said three adult men were found at the scene with gunshot wounds when they arrived.

One of the victims was taken to Colleton Medical Center for treatment but died from their injuries. A second victim was airlifted to Trident Medical Center in North Charleston with critical injuries, and a third suffered an injury to their arm.

The Walterboro Police Department is investigating. News 2 has reached out to the agency for more information.
