2 shot, 2 detained in North Charleston incident

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting in North Charleston.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded to the intersection of Rivers Avenue and Hawthorne Drive around 3 p.m.

At the scene, they learned that two people had been shot, one of which was also injured by a car.

Both male victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment. North Charleston detectives have detained two people; however, no arrests have been made.
