Wendy Williams Further Defies Prior Health Reports While Attending Son’s Graduation [VIDEO]
Earlier this week, fans of former daytime queen Wendy Williams received some great news after she was sighted looking happy and healthy while grabbing some good eats in Florida at SisterSara’s Sho’nuff Oysters.
Thankfully, it appears she might just be on the up-and-up overall these days following another healthy sighting this week as she attended the graduation of her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.

Kevin Jr.’s graduation ceremony from Florida International University was held earlier today (December 19) in the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. Wendy sat in attendance, assisted by a red wheelchair, alongside her father, Thomas Williams Sr., and sister Wanda Finnie. Photos exclusively obtained by The U.S. Sun show Wendy sobbing for joy at the sight of her only child walking across the stage into his future as the young Black man she helped to raise.
More information of the day’s events below, via The Sun:
“Wendy beamed and wiped away tears as her son crossed the graduation stage on Thursday.
Kevin Jr walked during the graduation for the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs.
According to the commencement booklet, Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
Her son notably took longer than the typical four years to graduate after taking time out of his schooling to care for his ailing mother during 2021 and 2022.
Wendy’s only child had begun his college experience at Barry University in Miami, and transferred to FIU in recent years.”
This all comes as a bit of surprise for those who remember last month’s report by her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, which stated Williams is currently “cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated.” Although she’s in fact in a wheelchair as stated earlier and barely says a word in both of the recent updates, what we see is a far cry from looking “incapacitated” in a permanent way.
Only time will tell, and we’re hoping it will be on Wendy’s side in the end. Congratulations, Kev!
