Dorchester District Two school holds groundbreaking for new expansion

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – The Dorchester School District Two will hold a groundbreaking for the expansion of Oakbrook Elementary and Middle School on Tuesday.

School district officials say the expansion will enhance the learning environment.

Nine new classrooms will be added to Oakbrook Elementary School and a Fine Arts wing and seven classrooms will be added to Oakbrook Middle School.

The groundbreaking is expected to begin at 12 p.m.
