The 2025 Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival lived up to the hype, showcasing the Bahamian island’s electric food scene and bringing guests and world-renowned chefs together for a weekend of great vibes. While Shaggy headlined the Saturday night concert, it was the culmination of an all-around, days long wonderful time.

Every night was packed with food and spirits, with progressively bigger crowds every night. Thursday evening’s Tacos & Tequila was hosted by Michael Symon and featured an energetic Baha Men performance, Friday night was held down by the Bobby Flay-hosted Taste of Paradise, which featured local talent like Bahamian singer Wendi and featured all the rum you could drink.
The days were filled an assortment of unique events that included wine-tastings, intimate dinners and Master Classes, like with James Beard Award-winning Chef Alon Shaya at his Silan restaurant that is located in the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort’s casino. We also were able to attend a live-taping of Chef Jose Andres’ Longer Tables podcast, which featured an energetic Michael Symone as his special guest (after reportedly playing late-night rounds at Atlantis’ new Good Lies Mini Golf. It didn’t hurt that the taping was in, and served food, from Andres’ Fish restaurant on the resort.
As for Saturday night, Shaggy, the consummate performer, hit all key cuts from his hefty catalog of hits—”Boombastic,” “Oh Carolina” and “It Wasn’t Me,” to name only a few—during Jerk Jam, which was hosted by Chef’s Kardea Brown and JJ Johnson.

Attendees couldn’t ask for better weather—it was in the mid 70’s and sunny throughout—while the trademark Bahamian vibes of smiles and good cheer were always in full effect. Throughout the weekend the consistent chatter was about how this has become a yearly trip for those in attendance and while the crowds got bigger, the intimate vibes were still prevalent. And if you need to turn things down from all the revelry, Brown hosted a pair of Gospel Brunches on Sunday, March 16.
While Atlantis Paradise Island is pricey when it comes to kicking it on a resort, consider it an investment and payoff for all your hard work getting there.
