Moncks Corner police searching for missing man they say is dependent on medication

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities in Moncks Corner are seeking help from the community in locating a missing man who has a history of mental and medical illness.

Island Daniels, 57, was reported missing by his family, who said their last contact with Daniels was around 9 a.m. Monday at his home.

Daniels is dependent on medication.

Family members say he was last seen wearing dark clothing and black crocks. He is known to visit businesses along Main Street.
