NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Law enforcement in North Charleston is responding to a barricaded suspect situation Tuesday afternoon.

Officers with the North Charleston Police Department are on the scene at a residence on Winnowing Way, the agency confirmed.

Individuals are asked to avoid the area while authorities handle the situation.
