One injured in attempted robbery while landscaping on Daniel Island
DANIEL ISLAND, S.C. (WCBD) — One person sustained minor injuries during an attempted robbery Wednesday morning on Daniel Island.
A Charleston Police Department spokesperson said officers responded to Oak Leaf Street shortly after 9 a.m. to reports of a robbery.
The victim reportedly told police he was doing landscaping work in the area when the suspect attempted to steal his wallet.
A brief struggle ensued, and the victim was wounded. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
No arrests have been made.
